My experience of getting rid of lice eggs in one day with the Tea Tree kit

My experience getting rid of nits (lice eggs) in one day

My experience of getting rid of nits (lice eggs) in one day was long and stressful, and I tried most home remedies such as Vaseline, olive oil, vinegar, and even hairspray , which were not helpful in removing and treating lice eggs and nits and did not give me the final result. In the end, I ended up using Spotless Hair’s Tea Tree range .

My home experiments to remove nits (lice eggs)

My experience with Vaslin (petroleum jelly)

I started trying Vaseline after hearing that it suffocates lice and prevents them from moving. But I ran into a big issue while combing. The Vaseline was very sticky, and I couldn’t comb the hair at all to remove the nits, because the comb would get stuck in the hair and stop at each strand. Even when I washed my hair, I had to wash my hair more than once to remove the Vaseline from the hair and the greasy feeling was still there.

Result: Vaseline actually coats the hair in a heavy, greasy layer, making it difficult to comb and remove the eggs.

My experience with olive oil to remove nits (lice eggs)

I then tried olive oil as a natural and gentle option. It did help to soften the hair, but because it is a very light oil, it slipped out of the hair quickly. During combing, the oil would come out of the hair along with the comb, which made the comb oily and hard to hold, and combing became very tiring, and every time I had to wipe the comb to clean the oil off.

Result: The oil helps remove lice, but combing with it is difficult.

My experience with vinegar to get rid of nits (lice eggs)

I had heard that vinegar dissolves the adhesive that holds the eggs in the hair. I did try it, and I felt that the hair started to soften and the eggs became a little easier to comb. However, vinegar is an acidic substance that doesn’t help the combing process, so I had to use an oil to moisturize the hair and make it easier to comb.

Result: Vinegar is effective at detangling but needs a combing aid.

My experience with Tea Tree Lice Oil and comb to eliminate lice eggs

After getting tired of home experiments, I decided to try a ready-made and proven solution from a specialized center. I used TTree’s oil and comb, and followed the same steps written on the package.
I noticed an obvious difference from the first use – the oil was light but firm, meaning it didn’t drip like olive oil and didn’t stick like Vaseline. When I started combing the hair with the specialized metal comb, the eggs came out easily one by one without sticking or breaking.

The combing was comfortable, and the hair stayed soft after washing. Even the smell was light and fresh, not like the strong vinegar smell. After the first session, I noticed that the scalp was completely clean, with no trace of eggs or dander left. It was a completely different experience from all previous methods – and the results were visible from the very first day.

Result: Tea Tree products were the real solution to removing lice eggs in one day, no dryness, no fatigue, and no repeat attempts.

Tips I learned from my experience to get rid of lice eggs

Use a special metal comb to remove lice eggs:

  • A metal comb is much finer than a plastic one, because its teeth are closer together and can easily catch small eggs while combing.
  • Preferably, the comb is made of a fine-toothed metal that won’t injure the scalp and will help you pull the eggs out of the hair without pain or breakage.

Don’t mix household oils together:

  • Mixing different oils leaves the hair greasy, heavy, and difficult to comb, because too many oils coat the hair with a layer that prevents the comb from pulling out the eggs.
  • Choose one known and proven product, as mixing oils can sometimes backfire or cause minor scalp irritation.

Repeat the combing during the first few days:

  • It’s best to repeat the combing process every two to three days for the first week, to make sure any new eggs are removed before they hatch and turn into live lice.
  • This repetition helps interrupt the life cycle of the lice and prevents re-infestation.

Clean the comb after each use:

  • While combing, wipe the comb after each pass through the hair to prevent the eggs from returning to the hair.
  • When you’re done, wash it thoroughly with hot, soapy water to remove any residue or impurities before using it again.
  • Combing is the only way to permanently remove lice eggs from the hair.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would like to share with you my experience in getting rid of lice eggs and treating nits in one day with ease and without fatigue, and most importantly, the hair remained healthy and clean without the use of harsh chemicals. My experience with the Tea Tree range was a practical and convenient solution for every mom who suffers from the same issue. I advise every mom to start with regular combing and choose the right product, because the result really makes a difference from the first use. Of course, we don’t forget to focus on a very important step, which is cleaning the house after lice infestation, and following prevention methods so that we maintain cleanliness and do not re-infect again, God willing
